The aim of our training is not merely to pass on knowledge at the cognitive level but also to ensure that the knowledge is absorbed instinctively such that there is a definite skills transfer, which manifests tangibly and enduringly.

This is not to mention the ever increasing trend of young graduates who take up jobs and pursue careers that are not directly related to their fields of study at the tertiary level.

What then is desirable and practicable, is the idea of life-time employability. Employability depends on the basic competencies a person has developed and how swiftly he is able to use these to acquire new skills.  

The most fundamental and thus most valuable of all the competencies, is the ability to learn.
